We've got a little project going on here. Mostly hubby has a project but I help when I can. It involves tiling, which neither of us has ever done before... it was kind of fun, I just might do it again.
It involves some building... cabinets on either side of the china cabinet.
We're in hopes that when all is completed it will look like a built-in.
I'm excited about having storage in the dining room for placemats, napkins, occasionally used dishes, special glassware, candles and seasonal decorations. The tiled tops will also serve as a buffet space when we have family dinners. I'll keep you posted with our progress.
