Yakult and beauty in one sentence?

Hi everyone

I am currently drinking Yakult on a daily base and I haven't felt this good in a long time. As you may have read I was on my way of destroying my body and mind with an antibiotics cure. Luckily I discovered the side effects quickly enough.

I began looking for products that contained probiotics, had never thought about them before, and the first thing that popped into my mind was Yakult.

I read that antibiotics destroy the guts by killing both the good and the bad bacteria. When there are no good bacteria, you can't digest anything properly anymore. What's worse is that 70% of the immune system is built around the bacteria in the guts, since that's where the majority can be found. Besides from that, a malfuntioning digestive track can make you feel uncomfortable overal. Finally, good bacteria in other parts of the body are also destroyed, causing yeast infections by bad bacteria.

Several websites recommended taking 10 billion bacterial colonies a day. A small bottle of Yakult, which is a cultured milk, is enough to cover that. You can drink more, but they say it's not necessary and tends to get a little expensive. To recover from antibiotics I would actually take a bit more, since you can even drink Yakult daily just to keep healthy, even though you have enough good bacteria already. My logic tells me that too much good bacteria could cause overeating and visiting the toilet more often, I guess, probably not diarrhea. I have been drinking Yakult for a week and haven't noticed anything bad.

On the contrary! I feel better every day! I realise that's it's taking a while to recover from what's only been 3 weeks of antibiotics. The Yakult has been a friend and support. I get very warm at night even though it's almost freezing outside. I tend to wake up with a greasy feeling on my back as if I've been sweating. I guess my immune system is still trying to get itself on track.

Now, thanks to my improved immune system and digestive track, I feel much stronger. The side effects of the antibiotics are slowly disappearing, organ by organ. The first symptom that went away was the nightly nausea, headaches and dizziness. My vision is getting clearer but that is a rather graduate process. My yeast infection is also clearing up and my anus isn't itching anymore... yes...all these things happen when you take antibiotics. I'm no longer over-sensitive to smells. I used to smoke a lonely cigarette a day but when I took antibiotics that desire went away. This desire has returned but I haven't smoked yet. I have been eating a lot though since my digestion is rolling on wheels!

And last but not least...I feel beautiful again.

Best thing is that Yakult also tastes nice. It's a little pricey at 3,50 for 7 bottles, but it's worth it!

So if you're looking to recover from antibiotics are looking to prevent the destruction of good bacteria, you should try Yakult and let me know if it worked for you. And if you just want to boost your immune system during this grey season and help your digestive track ( let's say, after the holidays, you know...)... and feel stronger and more confident, Yakult is the way to go!

Have a healthy life!

Helena
